Night Shift Press Brake Operator – $1500 Sign On Bonus

We are currently seeking a Night Shift Press Brake Operator to join our team. This role will be based in the West Fargo location.
POSITION OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE
Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Under limited supervision performs fabricating responsibilities using a Press Brake to insure quality and the most efficient production process. Reports problems with machinery and may make minor repairs/adjustments that are necessary to keep production on line. Performs and records quality assurance checks on parts to insure precise production. Cleans around machines to insure a safe work environment.
1. Performs all duties in the most cost efficient and cost effective manner.
2. Performs part inspections
3. Improves efficiencies whenever practical.
4. Performs some machine setups on assigned equipment to insure quality production of parts
5. Performs machine start up to insure proper operation.
6. Adjusts machines to insure proper specifications are being met.
7. Repairs parts that do not meet specifications
8. Reads and understands prints and sketches.
9. Continuously monitors machines for worn parts to prevent production slowdowns or shutdowns.
10. Performs parts inspections during machine operation with precision measuring equipment and documents the results. (Protractors, Measuring Tapes, Calipers)
11. Operates all fabrication machines as required or assigned.
12. Performs all duties in a safe, efficient manner and observes all appropriate Company safety regulations.
13. Maintains current understanding of the Company’s quality assurance program and its place in the production process.
1. May become certified for forklift operation.
2. Performs other work-related duties as required.
3. Willingness to work overtime, another shift or another department as needed.
4. Maintains and promotes positive attitudes and behaviors
5. Identifies improvement opportunities personally and for Crary and produces a possible solution or plan.
Graduation from high school or GED.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS PREFERRED
At least 6 months of recent related fabrication experience which includes the following skills and abilities:
1. Knowledge of the equipment, materials, methods and practices used in Fabricating operations.
2. Knowledge of the manufacturing production process.
3. Knowledge of related safety requirements to include proper use of safety equipment and proper safety precautions.
4. Ability to understand, follow and issue routine oral and written instructions.
5. Ability to monitor and help develop a quality assurance program in a production environment.
6. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
7. Ability to analyze blueprints and engineering drawings.
8. Good understanding of equipment capabilities to ensure safe operation.
